Grounding is creating self-affirming habits, rhythms, structures and routines that feed you, nourish you and make you feel strong. From this place of strength, you feel safe, secure, rooted in firm soil, able to change. When your needs are met, you can grow. You have the resources to say no to sugar. To stop eating when you’re full. To stop the inner dialogue that tells you you’re a fat cow. Being grounded is the first step in the courses offered by First Ourselves. We thought it appropriate to make this into a t-shirt we can wear. This is what our beautiful and talented illustrator Kelsey came up with. |
